Master’s Touch is a recreational riding program emphasizing equine-assisted motor and sensory development for riders of all ages and skill levels. With horseback riding as the primary tool of interaction, activities are created to specifically improve the rider’s motor skills, sensory integration, self-worth, socialization skills, communication skills, coordination emotional control and more. Master’s Touch focuses on working with those with autism spectrum disorder and has created a sensory trail specifically to meet their needs, however the program welcomes all ages and abilities. In the future, the program will become a certified elite therapeutic riding center and grow to include therapeutic vaulting and driving as well as a Horses for Heroes program. While the main focus is on the student’s success, we strive to create a relaxing environment for students’ families and caregivers. Our facility is home to quiet walking trails, reading and multiple play spaces to facilitate a therapeutic environment for the whole family. Future plans include traditional and nutritional counseling as well as support group opportunities for clients and their families.
